Booking & Payment
Q: How do I book The Field House?
You can book directly through our website by selecting your preferred dates on the calendar. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your stay.
Q: When is the final payment due?
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before check-in.
Q: Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes. During peak summer (June 15–Sept 15), we require a 1-week minimum stay, Saturday to Saturday. In the off-season, we offer a 3-night minimum.
Arrival & Departure
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Q: Is early check-in or late check-out available?
We may be able to accommodate requests depending on availability. Please reach out in advance.
The Home & Amenities
Q: How many guests can The Field House accommodate?
We can host up to 16 guests comfortably.
Q: What amenities are included?
The home includes a hot tub, outdoor shower, fire pit, WiFi, fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, board games, swing set, and luxury bedding and bath towels.
Q: Is there air conditioning or heat?
Yes, the house has radiant floor heating in the main living area, and thermostats in the bedrooms. During the summer months we put AC units in for optimal comfort.
Q: Are linens and towels provided?
Yes. We provide high-quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels for your stay.
House Rules & Policies
Q: Are pets allowed?
No, we do not allow pets at The Field House.
Q: Can we host events or parties?
We do not allow parties or large gatherings. The home is intended for quiet, family-focused vacations.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
No smoking is permitted inside or within 20 yards of the house.
Q: Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes. A $500 cleaning fee is applied to each stay.
Getting Here & Getting Around
Q: How do I get to Martha’s Vineyard?
You can take a ferry from Woods Hole, MA (Steamship Authority) or a flight into Martha’s Vineyard Airport (MVY).
Q: Is there parking at the property?
Yes, there is ample on-site parking for multiple cars.
Q: Do I need a car on the island?
We recommend bringing a car, especially for exploring up-island beaches and towns.
About the Property
Q: What is the layout of the bedrooms?
We have six uniquely named bedrooms:
Goldenfield – King bed, private bath
Meadowview – King bed, shared bath
Driftwood Den – Bunk beds, shared bath
Gardenside – Queen bed, private bath
Fireside – Queen bed, shared bath
The Sandbar – Basement bunk room with 2 bunks and futon
Q: Is the home child-friendly?
Absolutely! We have a swing set, games, and family-friendly spaces. Please note the property is not baby-proofed, so keep an eye on little ones.
